This page features some shots of the DC-4 that Swissair had leased from South African Airways’ Historic Flight unit in full contemporary Swiss Air Lines colors for 4 months in the summer of 1997 to commemorate 50 years of transatlantic service.
The air-to-air shots were taken on a special photo flight out of Classic Air’s DC-3 HB-ISB, cruising over the region of Zurich.
